For the first time in Venice, from the Republic of Kazakhstan on Sunday, 2 September, the famous Academy of Soloists, the national chamber orchestra founded by the famous violinist Aiman Mussakhodzayeva, People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will arrive at the Santa Maria Elisabetta Church on the Lido. This Venetian concert of an international tour is dedicated to the music of Vivaldi, Schubert and Mozart and will include the excellent performance by Mussakhajayeva of De Sarasate’s Gypsy Airs played on her Stradivarius violin. The voice of Bathirzhan Smakov, countertenor, will be heard. He studied voice in Italy and graduated at the Osimo Accademy of Lyric Art and the G. Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro with honors. His repertoire ranges from the baroque repertoire to romanticism up to contemporary music. Bakhytzhan Mussakhojayeva will conduct.
