This event presents the theme of the seven capital sins, combining vocal and instrumental musico f the 13th-17th century with Aesop's fables and a passage from a tragedy by Euripides. The music is from Carmina Burana as well as pieces by J. Dalza and A. Piccinini and will be performed by the Ensemble Oktoechos conducted by Lanfranco Menga with a narration of the texts by Ilaria Pasqualetto.

The theme of the seven deadly sins has alrways stimulated artists who, eachin his own sphere, have been inspired to expresss their oen point of view on those aspects which continue to occur in human behavior. If in the ancient world such types of behavior were considered "vices", then in the Chirstian epoch they are considered real "sins".
