MusicaVenezia is a new Cultural Association founded by the Artistic Director, Dr. Roberta Reeder,
who lives in Venice and teaches at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice.
The main aim of MusicaVenezia is to promote Italian music, especially by Venetian composers like Vivaldi
and Galuppi. It will accomplish this aim through various events such as concerts, conferences,
and youth concerts for children.

For many years the Artistic Director of MusicVenezia, Roberta Reeder, has had an academic
career, teaching and publishing works on cultural history, and also had a career as
Artistic Director of ETC., a cultural association in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
organizing festivals of the arts, concerts, art exhibitions and cultural symposiums.
ETC often organized events in collaboration with Harvard University, where Dr. Reeder
taught and did research. She now lives in Venice and teaches at the Benedetto Marcello
Conservatory and is also Artistic Director of MusicaVenezia. She founded this group
to promote Venetian music and culture.
