On Sunday, 5 September (4.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.) there will be a concert on Campo San Simeon Profeta performed by the Ensemble MusicaVenezia. The music will be from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. This event is related to the beautiful procession on the Grand Canal of boats with figures in elegant historical costumes which is part of the famous Venetian Historical Regatta taking place every year on the first Sunday in September to commemorate the return of Caterina Cornaro, Queen of Cyprus, to Venice.
